Accounts Payable
No matter how profitable a company is, without a premier Accounts Payable system it can still lose money. With AccountMate’s Accounts Payable, you can avoid duplicate invoices and late payments, require that invoices entered into the system be supported by purchase orders, and automatically take early-payment discounts. AccountMate can manage payments for all types of 1099 vendors and print applicable 1099 forms.

Payroll
With AccountMate’s Payroll, you can set up records for salaried, hourly, and time card/piece work employees, as well as for independent contractors, and pay them over a variety of pay periods, according to their pay/employment status. Within this flexible system, deductions can be withheld using a variety of methods. For instance, salaried and hourly employees can be paid using default hours, rates, and deductions. Additional payments, such as bonuses, can be entered for any employee and paid on the same or separate checks. The system automatically calculates payroll taxes and prints payroll tax returns. W-2 forms and 1099 forms. Using the Payroll module, employee and federal tax deposit payments can be made electronically.

Bank Reconciliation
Keeping an accurate tab on your cash flow is an important part of your business, and AccountMate’s Bank Reconciliation module makes it a breeze. With the Bank Reconciliation module you can record disbursements, receipts and bank transfers not recorded through other AccountMate modules; indicate which receipts, disbursements and transfers have cleared their banks; and then reconcile their book entries to their bank statements. You can also set up and amend bank accounts and define the currency in which transactions will be shown for each bank account, keeping you informed on the real-time cash position of your company.

Servicestar - Parts & Service
This is good news for dealers that provide service and repair. Autostar is integrated with ServiceStar, the service and repair application and retail parts counter.
Customer and vehicle information in Autostar for Windows can be easily transferred into ServiceStar for the purpose of creating a service ticket (work order). This saves time and ensures accuracy of information.
In addition, repair expenses and side notes entered into ServiceStar are tracked by Autostar. And, Autostar’s tags and flags are visible from ServiceStar to alert your employees to bad check status or other issues with the customer.
ServiceStar offers full functionality for service and repair functions, including:
• Creating service tickets
• Adding to existing service tickets
• Adding new and existing customers to the work order
• Adding labor to a service ticket
• Adding parts to a service ticket (including parts that are and are not in inventory)
• Adding sublet repairs
• Closing the service ticket
• Applying payments to a closed ticket
Repairs can be tracked as make-ready, policy pay, customer pay, and 3rd party pay expenses.
ServiceStar creates an Accounts Payable transaction when parts are received. In addition, ServiceStar’s cash drawer function tracks the receipt of payments on repairs.
We now have also integrated Tags & Flags to make them visible inside of ServiceStar.
In addition to the service and repair features, ServiceStar serves as a retail parts counter for the sale of parts not associated with a vehicle in inventory. The retail parts counter maintains its own cash drawer and is linked to accounting.

Starter Interrupt Devices

Autostar offers a seamless integration with this system that allows you to attach a PassTime device to a vehicle in inventory. Each time you take a payment, a device code is generated and printed on the customer’s receipt.
