System Status: Reporting Evolved

Here at AutoStar we push ourselves every day to make meaningful improvements in every area of our infrastructure. We do this so that we can provide an optimal experience for each of our users. From the physical hardware that we employ to our network, infrastructure, and everything in between, we never stop looking for ways to move forward. Consequently, over the next few months, we will be upgrading the database that our software solutions run on.

what does this mean to YOU?

Most significantly, the Custom Reports module will no longer be made available. Instead, we will be implementing a process to convert and store your current custom reports in our Flex Reporting application. The result will be added reporting functionality for users and an increase in efficiency on the back-end.

what happens NEXT?

In the coming days, an AutoStar Client Support Specialist will be contacting you to inquire about which reports are currently being used at your dealership. Many of our users have over a hundred reports available, but only use a few of them regularly. Once we obtain this information, we will then schedule the night for your conversion.

Once your employees are gone for the day, we will temporarily disable all of your users and begin the conversion process. This typically only takes a few hours, with the completion time estimated to be 4:00 AM CST. Client Support will then validate the data and make sure there are no discrepancies. Once we are sure that everything is functioning correctly, we will reactivate your users. Finally, if you have PortalPay, we will conclude by running the nightly recurring payments on your behalf.

When you arrive at your dealership in the morning, simply log in as you always do, and enjoy an increased performance in all areas of the software, especially your reports.
